Before you report

Preserve the phrase library — export a .phrasepilot backup if the issue might involve data.
Note Astramar / PhrasePilot version and build.
Note macOS version and whether you use Apple silicon or Intel.
Confirm whether the problem still happens after a clean quit and relaunch from Applications.
Reproduce with synthetic phrase content when possible.
Export and review a metadata-only Diagnostic Summary (Settings → Library) when the issue involves launch, save, paste, permissions, or migration.
